Open Question: In a bind, should I stay in my relationship or move on.?
No sure if anyone has been in this situation before, or if anyone has any advice for me. I have been in a relationship for 10 years, we have two kids ages 8 and 4. He cheated on me a couple time in the relationship but I took him back, in the spring of 2007 we split up for a couple of months, I started seeing this other man, who was and still is amazing. I have never met someone so kind hearted, he made me feel like a queen. In the fall of 2007 I moved back in with my boyfriend, because I was scared he was making alot of threats, and there is a history of physical, and verbal abuse in our relationship. So basically I was scared when he started making threats about hurting the man I was seeing. I kept in very close contact with the man, not seeing him though, but he would call me everyday at work, to see how me and the kids were doing. Every birthday, and on Christmas, VAlentine's Day and times when I was really down, he would send me flowers, and drop of little gifts at work for me. He now told me, that he would like me to leave my boyfriend, and be with him, as he still really cares about me, and he tells me he loves me. Which I really do believe, the time I spent with him was honestly the best time I ever had, he told me to move out and leave everything, he will purchase all new furniture for me but I don't know what to do. I am no longer or have been in love with my boyfriend for over 2 years now when he broke my heart by cheating on me with my ex-best friend, I am neverous about leaving him, but I also get worried because I feel like his mother, he only has his brother in Canada, and I have always been there for him. Now I feel like I am waisting my time with him, as he doesn't want to get married, he doesn't want to do anything as a family, and I don't see our relationship growing, it feels dead to me, but at the same time, I don't want to hurt his feelings, I would love to remain friends with him, but if I leave him and move on with another man, he will hate me, he has already told me this. The problem is I know that this other man has my heart, I think about him all the time, I think about how my future would be with him, I know he will make me happy, and I know he is the one for me, deep down inside I really feel like God sent him to me, beacause he came at a time in my life where I thought that was it, that I would spend the rest of my life being treating like nothing from my boyfriend. I really think that he is my soul mate, so why is this so hard to do, I know it is harder because there are children involved. I just want to know has anyone been in this situation before, or does anyone have any advice for me. Oh by the way, I know I am not the one for my boyfriend, I know that there is someone out there that could love him the way he needs to be loved, and I just feel so down about this everyday. I was 15 and he was 19 when we got together, I feel like we don't have anything in common anymore, and that we grew apart, but he doesn't see it that way. I guess the reason why I do care about his feelings is because I moved out with him when I was 17, that is when I had my first child. My dad was so upset with me that he didn't want anything to do with me, he helped me to get overe that. He was there for me, things didn't get abusive until I graduated College, and started working and making my own money. CAuse while I finished high school and college he took care of me, he paid for my education, and maybe I was or am stupid but I listen to the things he says telling me, that he made me into the woman I am, he helped me get where I am, and he feels like I used him, cause now, that I am independant that I want to leave him.

A more general question is, why does the Left perpetuate the gay stereotypes more than the Right and get away with it? When I was little, my dad worked constantly. Although I truly appreciate the hours he put in to provide for us, there are some issues overshadowing my gratitude for this. Just to start off, before I was born, my mom and dad were having some problems, and my mom walked in his office (which is in their home) and found him with his hand's on his secretary's rear. Then, although, we didn't get to see him much because of the hours he worked (sometimes just glimplses of him for a few days at a time even though we lived above the business he ran), however, on the rare instances that he went out of town with us for my gymnastics meets, as soon as we'd get to our hotel room for the night, he'd be off to find a strip club. I guess lap dances were more important than the rare times he got to actually relax with his wife and kids. He constantly eyeballs women to this day. I feel awful for my mom. When I was dating as a teenager and in college, he never talked to me about guys or even had an opinion when I had one that would cheat. He never gave any input at all, didn't even say to me that a guy shouldn't have done that. I never asked him to stand up for me to a guy, I could to that myself, but what about just comforting me and letting me know he was on my side. Now that I am married, he continually, when he and my husband are together, tells my husband, "you should go out of town with us this year, we go to this really great strip club", "look at the boobs on that chick over there" "this one time at a strip club...". Needless to say, this irritates me to know end, it really hurts. Aren't dads supposed to want only the absolute best for their daughters? Aren't they supposed to think the world of their daughters and want nothing but queen-style treatment of them by other men? I mean, hey, he should at least not actively encourage my husband to do the same things he always did. I really do think my dad was working because he worked out of our home, so he was always there, we just didn't see him much. Whenever we would walk through the downstairs we would just see him down the hall. He got called out a lot in the middle of the night, but I know that was really business, too. There's no delicate way of saying this, but he's a funeral director, when he gets called out, he comes home with a deceased person, can't really fake that. It's just every time he goes out of town for a convention or it always seems when my mom is out of town, no one can reach him. My brother, now a funeral director also, runs the show pretty much and dad pops in and out, no one, even my mom, can ever reach him by phone. He kind of disappears. Even my sister-in-law notices and asked me once if my dad was having an affair because of his behavior when mom is gone. My husband I think just kind of acts really passive about it. Doesn't really participate but doesn't really say anything either. He's never been to a strip club since we met 6 years ago, is home every night right after work (with some golf thrown in there), doesn't even hang out in bars anymore. He's rather toss back a couple of beers playin poker at a friend's house or on a golf course. He's a good guy, but I still have problems.

I was gonna say "a good laugh," but there are too many hilarities for that phrase. And I also should have said "FIXed news." I mean, for christ's sake--Hannity is a damn plumber and O'Reilly used to "work" for the *entertainment* show Inside Edition. Oh, and on top of that, the only women they hire are beauty queens to suck people in to watch the channel.

Open Question: How do I talk to my mom?
I'm 14 and I would like to be able to talk with my mom about things like boys or female things. But the problem is my mom tells everyone she is like the gossip queen right after I'm done telling her she text's or calls my aunt or my 16 yr old freakin cousin and tells them everything I told her I don't know why but she just dose.Ive tried talking to her all the time about how she dose that but she just denies it she gose "Are you kidding me I don't do that I don't know where your getting that from I never tell anything that you say to me your just making stuff up" those are the exact words that she uses. But I know she bust be telling them Ive never caught her in the act but anytime I'm like hanging out with my cousin or I'm at my aunts house. They will just bring up what I was talking to my mom about and their not good actors so I know she told them or they will just come out and say hey your mom told me........ and I will just be like WTF I'm never telling her anything again. But the thing is who do I talk to then I feel like I have so much stuff built up that I want to talk about or get advice for but I don't want personal things be told to everyone. I can't talk to my dad about it because thats way to awkward and I don't have any older siblings to go to. Also I'm home schooled so I don't have many friends, or a counsler or teacher to talk to I feel so alone and I just sit in my room and watch tv, cry and do nothing. What do I do?

I don't think I am pretty. But others think I am. And because they think I am-- I stand out more to them I'm assuming. I will say I am kind of smart--and that really surprises people. For instance on my science and english final I earned the highest scores and on all my finals I received As and I don't even study Back on topic ...but sometimes I think I get too much attention and although initially to me attention seemed nice but now it just is awkward. In pretty much all of my classes guys stare at me and it's weird--and I always ask my friend if I have something on my face--of course if I do most of them will not tell me anyways. lol. And I just think it's weird I don't know.. and now I am really uncomfortable because my best (guy) friend keeps telling me I'm pretty and it's just weird. And guys keep on touching my butt. urrghh! To make matters worse there are two guys that already have girlfriends that like me. I've met their girlfriends and they are probably the sweetest girls and it would be wrong. I seem like a complicated person but it's because I overthink the enjoyable simple aspects of life. And then the twist is last month I was jealous of my friend because all of a sudden she became the hot topic-- guys liked her and she all of a sudden became miss gorgeous and I got jealous. Her personality is the one that either drives you crazy or you really like her. She's nice to the point where it seems sometimes fake--some people can see right through it and even tell me--alot fall head over heels I'm completely different--I don't try to be perfect...because I cannot pretend and alot of people respect me for that-and I guess I am an easy person to talk to about things--because I don't judge. And I guess I was jealous because she gave this personna of perfection where initially I show my side of imperfection--hoping to weed out the people who probably won't be the best to confide in. . I'm so competitive with her now, and I don't like myself. Because I know when I set my mind to something it's going to happen. And I can tell she enjoys the spotlight --mostly since everytime I go out with her I have to hear the same stories about guys that like her over and over again. I don't really tell her who likes me and that makes me mad..yet I feel humbled. I feel like I have an inner Queen Bee that's holding back because people still manage to hang around me eventhough I am depressed and unconfident all the time. I wish I could believe I am pretty Last semester of highschool I want to shine, but self confidence issues are holding me back

Okay.. my bf wants me to meet his parents and sister this weekend. I'm so damn scared! His father runs a newspaper and his mother is a surgeon. I'm from a council estate and my parents have common, low paid jobs. His sister is some beauty queen glitter ball. Ah, help? We are going to have nothing to talk about. I don't want them to ask about my background. What could I say to distract them from the subject? Also, i'm vegan and my bf's family are very keen meat eaters. He has told them i'm vegan but i'm still worried the dinner menu will not be.. appropriate. Help?
