I want to start a princess birthday party business- my plan is to have a venue that I can transform into an enchanting little place for the princess party that dreams are made of. My question: To start out, I have a few different options. Which would you say is my best option? 1.) Take my parties on the go to get my name out there. Offer my services on the go, for a lower price, at client's home. (custom invites, unique games, place settings and chair decorations, adorable fluffy skirts, treat bags) 2.) Rent a 630 square foot room by the day (I found a good one that's $90 for nine hours- this is enough time for two different parties and plenty of set up time), and decorate it and have a couple different parties on that day. Charge higher price. Still get my name out there, with the venue-environment that I originally planned, but no long term lease contract. 3.) Suck it up and just go for it- get my perfect venue. Paint, decorate and permanently have a location for my business. Scary to sign a lease, but probably more professional. What would be best? As a parent, what would you respond best to? ETA: For a venue, I would charge $119 for a 2 hour weekend party, and $79 for weekday (not as popular, but the discount may entice more bookings) In my area, we have 6 birthdays each day for girls ages 4 - 10. We have Chuck E Cheese, but nothing like this. I think that if I start out with princesses, I can really make it the best- instead of doing many types of parties and having them just so so. I think the prices are probably pretty fair, and comperable to what parents would spend plus the cost of the convenience of someone else doing it? I wouldn't do the food- I looked into that, but I would need my kitchen to meet health inspections 24/7, and I would have to have additional insurance for food allergies.

well my brother lost my free time disk (which is actually my friends but she lost my pets so it;s ok :)) , which means i couldn't play my sims game because it is the newest disk i had. So i uninstalled it but then the other games didn't work because they weren't backed up and i had to uninstall the whole lot. I managed to find a few expansion pack disks and install them but i have to get more custom content now, but for some reason i downloaded it i enabled it on my game but it won't show up (well i haven't checked furniture but sims,make-up clothes and hair haven't worked) is there any way to fix this oh and a house i downloaded isn't there either :( Body shop : well this has been a problem even before i had the issue above i can't seam to cut clothes, i just end up with a grey block and it's rather depressing :( i want to make my own clothes oh yeah and i use photo shop :) i can re-colour clothes and hair (which they say is harder that clothes :S)

Okay, so to make this as brief as possible, I have an 80GB hard drive I've taken out of my Dell Dimension 3000 and I want to use it as the master drive in my Compaq Presario S6000NX while using the Compaq's 40GB hard drive as a slave. I have everything installed, but I can only boot Windows XP from the Compaq's hard drive because the Dell hard drive crashes due to major hardware changes. I need to make it so that the Dell hard drive can be the master and be able to successfully boot XP. My only issue is that it's got the Dell's drivers and hardware profiles, not to mention all my important files. All my files are around 65GB in size and the Compaq hard drive is a 40GB and I can't afford to lose any of my files. I was wondering if somebody could give me a full list of drivers I need to download for the Presario. I'm planning on taking the 80GB hard drive (but it's 5400RPM so I don't want to use it) out of an old HP Pavilion and wipe it out, then install it in the Compaq and install XP on it, then I'll move all my files from my Dell hard drive onto the HP one so I can do the same thing on the Dell hard drive (wipe it out and re-install XP on the Compaq). I want to do this so I don't lose ANY of my files because I need them ALL. I was wondering if somebody could give me a list of drivers or a website where I can download the drivers for the Compaq machine because I don't have internet at home and where I get internet access, I can download files other than EXE files, so maybe MSI files? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Oh, and I'm also going to need all my installed programs off the Dell hard drive and be able to use them after they've been moved back from the HP hard drive when I've re-installed XP. I've got all my custom settings and preferences all on the Dell HD so is it possible to use the Files & Settings Transfer Wizard on the Dell and back them up on my flash drive? What I'll need to do is I'll need to put the power supply and RAM back into the Dell tower and run the wizard on there. In order to use all programs successfully, can I even back up my registry on the Dell machine so I can use all my programs on the Compaq once the "migration" has been completed? Oh, you know what I was thinking? Since I have Nero Back-It-Up installed on the Dell, can I use the HP drive as a slave and back up the Dell drive onto the HP one while they're in the Dell machine? Could I still have full access to my user account, settings, preferences and all my programs along with the ability to install XP and the drivers on the Compaq? In other words, use Nero Back-It-Up and have all files backed up onto HP drive, wipe out Dell drive and install XP and necessary drivers in the Compaq machine and take files from the backup process off the HP drive and move them to the Dell drive and be able to use all programs and settings as if I was using the hard drive originally on the Dell where I had everything installed on? Oh and also, what processor would be better to use, the Celeron or the Pentium? The Pentium is from the Dell and it's 3.68GHz while the Celeron is on the Compaq and it's 2.73GHz. I was thinking the Pentium might be better, because of the speed, but then again, the Celeron could be better despite the fact it's lower than the Pentium.
